Configuring Multiple Tab Browsing - Siebel 19.7 Feature

A nice feature introduced in Siebel 19.7 is the ability to enable users to launch separate sessions within the same browser using its tabs.  I wanted to point out that while Bookshelf ("Configuring Siebel Open UI," pages 128-129) indicates that modifications to the AI Profile and Object Manager are needed to enable this functionality, the section on configuring the AI misses an important distinction.

The Bookshelf section reads: "Navigate to the Basic Information section and click Authentication" and then to enter a value in the "Maximum Possible Tabbed Sessions" field.  After following these directions, the feature didn't work.
