Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. CNC, DB and Operating System - JDE1 (MOSC)

Moving servers(VMs) IPs will change , domain name will stay the same

We are moving VMs and this will incluse many of the JDE servers and fat clients.

The domain names of the servers will stay the same however the IP addresses will change. Will this affect day to day JDE in any way?

I would assume that JDE foes by server names and not IP addresses? Or is thefre any places where we will have to update the new IPs?

The servers include, Deployment server, Media object servers, HTML/BSSV/AIS servers, FAT clients etc.

Is there any white paper that has steps to be done once the IP changes to keep JDE working?
