Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Checkpoint table missing error Integrate Replicat

Hello Gurus,

OGG v18

while starting integrated replicat process got abended about missing checkpointtable. After adding it process started I’m puzzled I thought IR

doesnt needed checkpointtable to be added uses internal dictionary tables for it.

Why was it needed in this case ?
