Connecting Tape Library SL150 and supercluster to third party servers

Hi,

We need to install StorageTek SL150 tape library to backup from supercluster but the supercluster servers has no ports available and we used all the available modules, so our customer want to connect third party  server to infiniband to work as media server then connect them directly (no SAN switch) to the StorageTek, so the questions are:

- Is using SAN switch mandatory?

- Is it allowed by oracle to connect third party servers to infiniband?

- Does connecting third party servers to infinband affects the warranty/support agreement?

- Does connecting third party servers to infinband have affect on us as a partner?
