Using CI for mass Compensation increases

Hello!

At our organization there are multiple rounds per year where certain groups go through their annual increases or market adjustments that encompass hundreds or thousands of employees at one time. There is a current custom CI that has been in place for years, but it causes its own pain points to run.

We're now moving to PUM Image 30 and were hoping that there were now options for Excel to CI to update Job as well as the Compensation rate. The issue has always been that the 'Calculate Compensation' function was not able to be invoked.

I've found Note 2410362.1 that seems to discuss this, and points out a customer solution:
