xml output rounding error

in Reporting - EBS (MOSC) Question

I will apologize up front as I am new to Oracle so I don't know the correct terminology yet.I may have even selected the incorrect place to post this.

I seem to be having a rounding issue in a report.  when the output is set to text, I get 14,862,959.87. When I change the output to XML and view the XML I get 14,862,959.90.  No other change except changing the output format.  Where do I start in researching this.
