Effect on standby database for HCC applied on primary database

Hello experts,

                       We have successfully tested HCC on sun zfs storage with dnfs enabled. Now we are planning to apply the same in prod where it has standby setup. Primary database In prod we have zfs storage and dnfs enabled but in standby we have zfs but dnfs is not enabled.

We are not confident to apply because even we compress table in primary how that will be handled in standby database? Also whether it will corrupt standby database while trying to apply redo or not.

If anybody has any experience or thought please let me know.
