Recover Overpayment amount in installments

Hi,

For 1 employee HR by mistake entered wrong rate due to this employee is paid more than what he supposed to get. After 6 months HR realized and corrected the salary. Now employee does not want to pay all at once, instead he wants to pay in installments for 3 years. Please suggest .
