Is it possible to modify the field from the Shell Details form to read only for uuu_location?

Good Day Community,

Business Requirement: They want to have the source data of this field from OPPM Application, the filed below Hierarchy Path (uuu_location) from the details form. The data is populated thru an interface webservice call to Unifier.,

As the source data will be in the OPPM Application, can we set the uuu_location to non-editable? The issue is if this will be left accessible to User in Unifier to be edited, the data in OPPM and Unifier will not be matched.
