Deleted GL_DIST_ID's in R12.1.3?

Is it normal behavior for a CUST_TRX_LINE_GL_DIST_ID to be deleted from the AR tables? We have some that are appearing in the data set one day and are missing the next day for the same transaction/line/distribution combo.
