In Oracle R12 receivables does changing the customer class under profile tab in customer page would

Problem - In Oracle R12 receivables does changing the customer class under profile tab in customer page would also change respective auto cash rule set attached to customer profile class?

In current case in production the auto cash rule set is not changing as per the setup in customer profile calls and when its NULL it should derive from system options.
