Cycle counting functionality is not working for ABC class assignment

Created a cycle count and added the items with their ABC classes manually for these items , we have set the cycle count frequency as

A class : To be counted 52 times a year

B class : To be counted 52 times a year

C class : To be counted 12 times

Frequency is set to be daily and Auto scheduled is set as Yes

However when we run the Perform Cycle Count request set, the same set of Items are being picked up for counting

This should not be the standard behavior as we need to have new items to be considered for counting as part of cycle counting
