Linked Project vs Associated Project
I am doing some unit testing and a proof of concept for using the Projects Program functionality. I have set up my project as a program, and linked projects to it. In the web-based form where the project is linked, there is another section called "Association" and fields for Associated Projects and Associated Tasks.
What is the difference between a linked project and an associated project? In the LOV I see all projects, not just the ones where workplans are enabled. Does using the "associate" functionality rather than linking let you assign projects to a program that only use a financial plan?
