Siebel Upgrade to IP 17 - What to consider from DB Server

Hi

We are planning to Upgrade from 8.0.0.12 to IP 17

As a part of Upgrade ., we are upgrade OS of DB to higher version.

We will have new DB Server - and migrate the existing Database on new OS

Now for Siebel IP 17 Upgrade.

When we consider Siebel DB Server Installation... What additional checks we should consider..

How do we do the Siebel DB Server configuration

Can you please share the pointer / references.
