Question about Monitored Execution Details and Specific Metrics
Good Afternoon!
We were troubleshooting some statements that were causing excess memory swapping and in looking at the monitored sql execution (in OEM) details under memory the temp usage was pushing 6 gigs and it seemed that this was the ceiling and wasn't allowing it to go higher. We are on oracle 12 on redhat linux 6.10(?) My question is what determines the max amount of temp usage assigned to a particular SQL execution. It doesn't seem to correspond to amount of sga/pga assigned or temp tablespaces or temp file systems on the host. I haven't found any good documentation on
