Which components are allowed under the Asset BOM/Maintenance BOM form?

I would like to know exact condition for components allowed under the Asset BOM or Maintenance BOM form. There is some value set used and if component is not good, I am getting the window with title "Enter Reduction Criteria for Long-List". Could I know which attributes are validated? I would like to pre-validate some data before we will insert data into Oracle interface table (bom_inventory_comps_interface) to create new Asset/Maintenance BOM list...
