Need to create one item for both Capital type and expense type

Hi,

        right now we created 2 same items for capital and expense type.User wrongly the select the item while creating the requisition and  no of items also increased. We need to create one item both expense type  and capital type which is asset and selecting the account code for differentiate the items. Please help us in this regards.
