How to switch over to new SAN storage?

Hello,

We've 2 Oracle RAC running 11gR2 and 12c on AIX 7.1 database server.   They connect to an Dell/EMC storage which is end of life.

Now we got a new SAN storage and wants to 'migrate' the database to new storage.  Some notes on the setup

- boss doesn't allow migrating through ASM (add ASM disk on new SAN, rebalance, remove ASM disk on old SAN).

- have to cut-over in one shot.

- ASM LUNS are synchronized to the new SAN.

- multipathing is used on AIX.

Thus what we have to do is:

1. synchronize LUNs to new SAN

2. stop DB and disconnect old SAN
