Unable to enter shipping qty in shipping transactions form to backorder

Hi Experts,

  In shipping transactions form(STF), we are unable to enter the shipping qty manually. The idea is to enter a qty which is less than the requested qty at the time of shipping. There was a field in STF where in we could enter the shipping qty. Are we missing any set-ups? Appreciate your inputs on this.
