Adding category to sourcing tree. Field Name1 not populated on PS_AUC_TREE_NODE

For some reason when I add a category to our sourcing category tree the Name1 field in record PS_AUC_TREE_NODE is not populating with the category description.  Previously added categories do have that field populated.  Am I missing a step in my process?  Replication steps attached.
