NACHA Data Security Enhancements

edited Mar 30, 2022 1:15PM in Human Resources and ELM - PSFT (MOSC) 4 comments

NACHA has set out a new data security requirements rule for originators to protect direct deposit account numbers used in the initiation of ACH entries by rendering them unreadable when stored electronically. We are wondering what others are doing or have done to be in compliance with this new rule.

We meet the criteria for having it implemented by 6/30/2020 (Phase 1) and are trying to figure out what we need to do to be in compliance.

Thanks for any information you can share.
