Is a bank branch address mandatory to issue an EFT in Germany ?

Hello,

We are deploying EBS to Germany (after Canada and US) and we are debating if we must define a bank branch with or without an address for a Supplier in Germany and a German bank.

We are issuing EFTs.  With legacy system, an address was never required, and all electronic payments to German banks were always successful.
