Monitoring credentials - OEM 13c Database Discovery

Hi

We recently deployed OEM 13c and have deployed agent on the hosts and now working on adding listener and database targets on those managed host

At the discovery screen for Database it is prompting to put in the password for DBSNMP and for ASM it is prompting for ASMSNMP passowrd

we have the following questions on above

1. Both the above credentials (DBSNMP and ASMSNMP) referred to are the database users on the HOST  target database OR in the OEM Repository Database?

2. Do we need to use these credentials or can use use any other credentials like SYS or SYSASM? Any downsides of doing that?
