How can we produce files with meaningful names from a concurrent program?

We have several concurrent programs that produce POs, SOs, etc. and it would be very helpful if the PDF created had the order number instead of the request ID.  For example, running a concurrent program to create a PO PDF for PO 123465 would produce 123456.pdf.  This would come in especially handy where we have processes that automatically email these files to suppliers or customers.  We would also like to keep the option to click "View Output" and be able to see the produced PDF.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
