Hi all Oracle Application DBAs

We have recicived reqeust from Oracle application team , to provide the UNIX level access on only to custom top(full access).  Please can you provide the advantages/dis-advantages to provide the unix access to application team.

or if any one have solution to provide to access to only custom top to applications ( in aix)

NOTE :  CUST_TOP /u02/apptestapp/apps/apps_st/appl/cpw/12.0.0
