Adding Cost Segregation Assets after Year End
Has anyone had to enter cost segregation detailed assets after a year end? If so, what was the process? We’ve entered 3 placeholder assets at the end of 2018 for the lump sum but now we need to break them down to 700-800 assets. They will have the same useful lives, accumulated depreciation, etc. These should tie exactly to the place holder assets so that between the new additions and the zero out/disposed assets the entries that are created should zero each other out.
