oda-admin password expired, have changed, web front still says password expired

I have a oracle database appliance X5-2 with software version 18.5 installed.  I use the DCS stack and my oda-admin user password expired.  I try to log in to the ODA on the web, and it states my password has expired and i need to change the password using odacli-adm set-credential  command.  When I do that and change the password seemingly successfully using my ssh window, I go back to the web and it still says my password is expired.  What do I need to do to get it to work?
