Is there any API to update END_DATE_ACTIVE in project expenditure types ? The form shows table as PA

I need to end-date some project expenditure types. Instead of navigating to the form and end-date each project expenditure type, is there an API (Public) to update the end_date_active values in the PA_EXPENDITURE_TYPES_DESC_V table with an end-date ? Please provide me any inputs.
