Mass Transaction Manager - BKS ignores converted assets

We are using the MTM tool to update Adjust and Retire Convention.  It is working as expected for all assets added to AM after go-live.  Our converted assets are being ignored.

Wondering if there is something simple that we can do for converted assets to be selected?

Selection criteria is pretty wide open and should find all assets in the specified BU/Book; the converted assets have the FM convention:

I thought the issue might be related to Transaction date, but when I ran it for 1/1/1900 in preview mode the number of assets was the same.

We are currently on Image 28 PT 8.56.08.
