How do I cancel an unapproved shipment that was created from a sales order?

In JDE E1 9.2, how do I cancel an unapproved shipment that was created from a sales order? How do we cancel a shipment that was created manually?  We create shipments from sales orders. We build loads. However, we do not run freight update. Sometimes we create a manual shipment.

Sometimes we need to cancel a shipment that was created from a sales order; that is, we want the shipment status to go to 99. The shipment that we want to cancel is unapproved at status 20. The shipment has either been deleted from a load or else the shipment has never been on a load.  The sales order detail lines for the shipment are at a next status that is less than 560 so that the detail lines have not gone through shipment confirmation.
