Entering a Supervisor on Job Data>Job Information Screen

Hi There,

We would desperately like to enter a Supervisor ID on each employee's record on the following screen: Workforce Administration>Job Information>Job Data>Job Information screen.  However, we are getting the following error that stops us from saving the record change in correction mode:

You cannot enter a Supervisor ID and a Reports To at the same time. (1000,894)

If there is a Position Number, please enter a value for Reports To, otherwise enter a value for Supervisor ID.

There is already a "Reports To" field occupied with the department director rather than the immediate supervisor. 

Is there a setup flag that we can change to allow us to use the Supervisor rather than the Reports To field?  The Reports To is filled with the director's position code; Which would be OK to remove if needed.
