Non Serialized Rebuild

When I issue a Non Serialized Rebuild to a Work Order, the system Auto generates WO for the worn-out rebuild. This is good, but how do I move this worn rebuild to a sub inventory while the rebuild is being repaired (It takes a month to repair). Because when we run min-max, the system will consider the worn rebuild if it reside in a sub inventory.  I could not do a sub Inventory transfer as the rebuild is not in any sub inventory.  We don't want to complete the rebuild work order just for the sake of moving it to
