Is it mandatory to Post Encumbrance Journal entries to move the encumbrance amounts under obligation

Hi Team,

Is it mandatory to Post Encumbrance Journal entries to move the encumbrance amounts under obligation to actual in the Funds Available Inquiry screen.

If yes, does it requires to post the "Actual" balance type entries also to obtain the correct funds available. We have not posted the encumbrance entries, because of which our Funds Available balances are wrong.
