Address Book Next Numbers

Hi All,

We have an issue where the Next Number for Address Book (System 01) is getting incremented by approx. 4524 numbers every night. So we are losing vast chunks/ranges of available numbers and I’m not sure why.

We only have JDE jobs that make use of Address Book next numbers, no external applications add or modify the Next Number value, currently 751136.

Online users seem to be ok, only using/adding next numbers when manually adding an Address Book record.

This happens every night – the next numbers skips approx. 4524

Where can we look to see what might be incrementing it by so much?
