Sale and Service of item from different company under one parent organization

The issue we have is briefly described below.
There are 2 separate organizations working under one parent organization. (For the ease of understanding, lets name them 'A' and 'B')
Our requirement is to sell a item 'C' from organization 'A' and then the servicing for the same must be done by organization 'B'.
The potential issue that arises here is about the different items and their respective details. How will organization 'B' get all details from organization 'A' to service the items. It is also necessary to note that both organizations 'A' and 'B' use one system for their daily transactions.
