Tracking equipment downtime

Hi, for 9.2 Capital Asset Management, can someone please point me to documentation to track downtime for a piece of equipment?  Maybe it's called something else because I can't find anything with that terminology.

We currently track hours spent on preventative and regular maintenance work orders for equipment, but I'm not having any luck finding where you would enter (for instance) a start and end time for a piece of equipment that is down.
