Configuring Auto Service Request

I am not familiar with ASR, so apologise if the following seem to be basic questions.

We don't want every server to be connected to the internet, so can you configure one server to collect info from a number of different clients and then set this management server to send ASR info to Oracle.

Are there any good webcasts that show how ASR is configured and how it works?

How do other people use ASR - is it for non global zone servers as well as physical servers?

Does it just monitor hardware or alert on software issues eg. zfs issues etc?
