RMA - Preventing multiple sales orders from one RMA

In P400511 (Enter RMA) the user will enter line 1.00 which will generate sales order #1. They will OK out of the RMA. Then, they will return to the RMA and add a new line 2.00 - this new line now generates line 1.00 on sales order #2 - whereas the user would like this to generate line 2.00 on the original sales order #1. Not sure that this is possible.
