Rental Rates Question

Folks,

An equipment can have one of four billing rates based upon the equipment's age.

There are 250 different Equipment Families. - Dozers, Excavators, Weedeaters etc etc.

Am I looking at creating 1000 Rate Group values?

so eg:

Equipment - Dozer 123 belongs to the Dozer group. Depending on its age it could bill at one of four rates for the Dozer group. The four rate groups for the Dozers are 001, 2, 3, 4.

Equipment - Backhoe 443 belongs to the Backhoe group. Depending on its age etc etc. The four rate groups for Backhoes then are 005,6,7,8.

and so on across the 250 Equipment families.

The rates are unique to the Equipment Group....so...Backhoe rates are different than Dozer rates.
