UDR - When creating a UDR from a Data View how to allow select fields in the Query

I have created some User Defined Reports (UDR's) from a Data View and SQL and would like to know if it is possible to add a Select field next to the Query fields

Example 1:  If a UDR is created from a Standard Unifier data set then the fields Status and Package have select buttons next to them

Example 2:  If a UDR is created from a Data View\SQL then the fields Status and Package do not have select buttons and the user needs to manually enter the values they require

Does anyone know how to add a Select button next to Query fields (Package and Status) when the UDR uses a Data View\SQL
