How to hide region item in Mobile Field Service

Hello,

We are upgrading to 12.2.8 and MFS has quite a few options that we don't want the users to use/see.  We were able to disable grants on the menu options but they're still visible.  I tried removing the label from AK Developer, but then there's this unsightly blank line just like below image where I tried to hide "Receive Parts",  Oracle Support says that we may need to customize but we don't know what to customize.  Is there anywhere a note or guideline that we can follow for customization of Mobile Field Service pages?  We have multiple fields that we
