Hello O. Support and fellow EBS Financials experts:

Our Saudi Arabia entity informed one of the local requirements is that we must have the accounting software (Oracle financials) saved on a server within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our Oracle servers are on a Cloud, Oracle managed infrastructure (Oracle Managed Cloud Services - OMCS).

Anyone doing business in Saudi Arabia who can help answer this question? How are other Oracle customers addressing / meeting this requirement?

Is this is "must have" requirement or "nice to have"?

P.S. I see there is documentation for Saudi Arabia VAT Localization patch. But from my understanding this goes beyond VAT requirements. This requirement covers the physical location of the database server.

Howdy, Stranger!
