How to insert Hyperlinks in Edit Video Transcript in OpenEnrollment Category

Does anyone know how to generate a hyperlink in the video transcript? We are including a video transcript per ADA guidance. In our video, links are displayed. According to the ADA guidelines, we need to include these links as hyperlinks in our video transcript. I have tried using html like this: <a href="https://hyperlink.here">hyperlink.here</a> and this does not work. I also tried coding the whole page as a html page but this did not work either.
