Copy historical HFM data to a Microsoft Azure SQL Database

Hi,

We are currently preparing to move from Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to Oracle EPM Cloud. We wish to copy our many years of historical HFM data to a Microsoft Azure SQL Database in the cloud (for archiving purpose). We are thinking of doing this by extracting the data from HFM, using HFM data extract templates and then importing this data into Azure SQL Database. Does anyone know if using data extract templates is the best approach?
