How to maintain the common cost structure and resources
Hello,
I have a query regarding BOM & Routing setup and Cost Maintenance in Standard Cost environment.
We have 4 Factory Locations defined as Inventory Organization (example A, B, C and D). These Inventory Orgs build assemblies and transfer between Inventory Org for further processing example (org A builds ASSM-1 and can transfer to B or B build ASSM-2 and transfer it to A)
We want to maintain the same item cost across all inventory orgs for both Make & Buy items so that No PPV is generated during Inter-org transfer and also for easy cost maintenance/roll-up purpose.
We are going with the approach of creating common BOM and perform cost roll-up in one org and copy it to other inventory orgs using "Copy Item Costs Across Organizations".
