Siebel IP17/19 LDAP

Hi Experts,

We are doing a fresh IP17 install and configuring LDAP with same set of parameters from our IP16 environment.

We are using ADSI adapter/profile in IP16 environment. However, we were told ADSI cannot be directly used. We need to use only LDAP going forward from IP17.

Hence, We have configured LDAP profile with same parameters as that of ADSI. But unable to authenticate against the LDAP now.

Is it right approach?

Also, should be using "SecAdptDllName =sscforacleldap.dll" in the LDAP security profile?

We are also unable to submit profile via SMC. Are there any known bugs?
