Unplanned depreciation limitations

Hi

I'd like to use unplanned depreciation, but there is some restrictions listed in user guide. like we cannot perform a mass change or mass retirement in prior period for assets which have unplanned depreciation. but i ve tested this and it work fine for me (I was able to make mass change for this assets and either a mass retirement in prior period), is there something wrong cause this in contradiction with the restriction below in user guide : "In addition, you cannot perform a mass change for assets that have unplanned depreciation"
