Fixed Assets Tagging Solution

Hi Team,

Few queries for which i need your help.

1. Is there any Oracle product which can generate Tag numbers for Assets.

2. Suppose if we have a custom solution to generate tag numbers for assets, how can we update it for assets which is already created in the Fixed Assets module.

3. Should each individual assets be created separately so as to assign tag number. (Eg: in case of assets of similar type, eg laptops, should we create it separately or create as one assets with multiple units.

4. Business does not capitalize those assets which fall below a particular threshold amount. How can this amount be expensed from the fixed assets module but still needs to be tracked for information purpose. Can these expensed assets be also assigned Tag numbers.
