Automatically Swapping Service Items in Contract Renewals

I would like to know if there is a standard way of automatically swapping service items in an Oracle Service Contract with another Item Number at the time of contract renewal.

The reason for this is: We have some service items that are to be replaced with newer services on contracts that are setup as Evergreen (auto-renewed). We would like to avoid manual work in replacing these service items.
