ParentBCName in RTE Conditional Expression

Hello,

I would like to use function "ParentBCName ()" in Run Time Event Conditional Expression. Bookshelf link for Functions in Calculation Expressions.

Function "ParentBCName ()" does not work if we use it directly in RTE Conditional Expression. Workaround is to have function "ParentBCName ()" as Calculated field in BC and field must have Force Active property. Other functions like LookupValue, Lookup, LoginName work fine in RTE Conditional Expression. Does anyone know why ParentBCName doesn't work in RTE Conditional Expression?
